PreppComm Solar Power Systems

We offer two different solar power systems for use with portable amateur radio transceivers:

1. High Power Solar Battery System: This is a great power supply that will keep you running for many hours, and continuously with only 2-3 hours of bright sun a day. The high efficiency >22% compact solar panel folds into a book size lightweight power source, and the 20 Amp-Hour (20,000 mah) battery bank provides a fairly usable flashlight and a compass. Cables are included for interconnection and providing 12V current limited power to your MMX or DMX transceiver. Only $99!

2. Super Power Solar Battery System: This is our original system, with lots of extra power, capable of charging two devices at the same time. A percentage charge display is included, which is very helpful fur knowing what the battery state is at. No compass, and the flashlight is just two LED's sticking out of the case. Not entirely useless. A full 28 Amp-Hours keeps running and running! Larger panels for charging faster in less than full sunlight. $199.
